How it works
ThermaVein is the gold standard in vein removal.
​
Using thermocoagulation, it offers a non-invasive treatment for the removal of spider veins, thread veins and spider naevus.
​
It is gentle enough to be used on the face and is extremely effective at removing veins from the nose, chin and cheeks.
​
During treatment, a fine probe is placed on the skin over the vein. The ThermaVein machine produces a very low current, which causes the vein walls to seal together and instantly disappear. The vein is then reabsorbed by the body.

ThermaVein is the ultimate 'walk-in, walk-out' service. You will arrive at our appointment with veins, and by the time you leave, they will have permanently disappeared.

Treatment is currently on a promotional offer of just £190 for a consultation and up to 15 minutes of vein removal (this is usually enough to treat most areas in one session).
For patient requiring top-ups or removal of very small areas (such as one or two veins under the nostril) this is available for £80.

Please note, ThermaVein is suitable for red veins, such as those commonly found on the nose, chin and and cheeks. It can not be used to treat blue or purple veins, or varicose veins.

Skin tags, warts and milia

ThermaVein is an exceptional treatment option for milia, skin tags and warts.
​
The treatment seals the blood supply to skin tags, and they will fall off in as little as two days, with next-to-no scarring or healing time. The technique is extremely precise meaning we can remove skin tags and milia from around the eye, and even on the eye lid itself!

ThermaVein is a proven treatment method for wart removal. It works by sterilising the wart virus, so in a few weeks the wart will disappear as the new skin grows through.

Blemish removal using ThermaVein is £80 for a consultation and removal of one lesion. Further lesions can be removed at just £40 each, when treated in the same appointment.

Warts, skin tags and milia can also be treated at Our Health Hub using CryoPen. Don't worry if you're not sure which treatment option is best for you. The clinician will assess your lesion in your appointment and advise on which treatment will give the best outcome.
